ABOUT THE BDFL / RULES

The Story

Every game has 'em: winners and losers. At the BDFL we call them the Crescent City Cogs and the Bayou Broke Dicks. Which team are you on? You won't know 'til the final play of the game. And everyone will know the next day. (Hint for the slower folk: looooosers are Broke Dicks!)

The Crescent City Cogs/Bayou Broke Dicks are comprised of members of the LPD17/Avondale Alliance and are captained by Kabir Kalsi and Jeff Kennedy. Most-time Referee is Carlene Oehler. 5on5 to 7on7 games are played on a weekly basis, schedule and location determined by convenience. BDFL rules are loosely based on the Professional Flag Football League rulebook and adopted game by game rules:

1. Only 1 person can be in motion when ball is snapped.
2. Defender is allowed one chuck on receiver within 5 yards of line of scrimmage.
